It's your typical on-the-highway motel that is quite cheap by today's standards (I was able to secure a three night stay from Sun-Weds. for ~$40 a night which included taxes from the official Choice Hotels website). The only cheaper alternative on the strip (it's basically an entire strip of crappy motels and a few hotels just outside the limits of Atlantic City) was for $14/night but it looked shady and the biggest draw according to their sign was king sized waterbeds. cough. Anyway...this motel wasn't anything special. I got the room I asked for when applied online...king sized bed and non-smoking. The shower wasn't very good as the hot water wasn't very hot nor was the stream very hard. They didn't have HBO as I thought they would...but an ok selection of basic cable. I didn't come here for the comforts of home though...I just needed a place to sleep after a long day's worth of gambling. The Rodeway Inn more than accomodated my needs for that and the air conditioning was ice cold (a relief from the late summer's heat). I suggest you bring some small bottles of shampoo that you've taken from other motel stays as this place didn't have any free shampoo items. Though it did have a micro/fridge unit (never got to use either tho).
Overall recommended for the ultra-basic needs (sleep) and not much else. I've stayed at much better places, but then again I've also stayed at much worse.
