What can I say? We were a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but im happy to report that there was no damp moldy smell, the carpets looked clean, and the room was great. This isn't such an old hotel, built in the last 5 years, its very well kept. The breakfast is AWESOME! With hot waffles every morning and a great selection of cold items as well, we packed our belly's for the day! We had the Jaccuzi sweet and it was immaculate. It was a short romantic getaway for our 30th wedding anniversary, since we were waiting on the news of our son and daughter-in-law's impending birth! ( she had a baby boy on our way home!) We made sure to utilize the pool which was refreshing in the dead of winter and we even snuck in a little excersize in the work out room (just so that we can say we did!) On top of it all there was a small business center where i was able to check my emails and print out the itinerary that my daughter had emailed us for the trip! All in all, it was a great room, great value and I will come back again!!

We stayed here for the lower price rather than stay at a casino hotel. All our expectatioins were met for a good value in a hotel stay. The room was clean and it was a quiet night. The TV was working fine. The staff was very nice. The free continental breakfast was very nice. Overall, a pleasant one night stay.

Room smelled awful. I actually drove to a local pharmacy in order to buy some air fresher. Carpet dirty. Mold and water marks in the ceilings. The hallway hasn't been cleaned in ages.

Price was pretty cheap..... now I know why . Location was good, but the facility needs updating. I am used to Hiltons/Hamptons and this property was not even close.

I stayed here for several nights, including both weekday nights when the hotel was nearly empty and over the weekend when it was full. One reason I chose this hotel over others along White Horse Pike in Absecon was the fact that they did not jack up prices on the weekends nearly as much as other hotels did. It was maybe $30 more on Saturday night as opposed to $100 more at some other hotels.

In contrast to previous reviewers, I did not find this hotel to be "disgusting", dirty, or to have any strange odors. My room was clean and everything was in good repair. SInce I was there for work, I liked the large work table and a comfortable reading chair with ottoman. There were not a lot of outlets for plugging in laptop, phone, etc., though. The ceilings were unusually high, and I had a first floor room so that was suprising. The staff was friendly and accommodated all of my requests.

My only complaints: the walls are very thin and I had to lay awake listening to the movie that my neighbors were watching, and the housekeeping is a bit subpar ( my sheets were not changed though I had sand in my bed from a trip to the beach the day before, and one day they took my used towels but did not replace them with clean ones). The hotel also advertised 24-hour coffee in the lobby but did have any at 4-5 AM each day when I had to leave on business.

Overall, I think this hotel was a great value and I would definately stay here again.
