“Great stay!”

Stayed here during business trip. It's an old style hotel with approx 30 rooms (but you'd never know, it seems even bigger). It has many places to sit and relax, be it inside on comfortable couches, the dining room, or out on the lawn chairs by the bar or the pool. It's beautifully landscaped and the food is delicious.

The rooms are clean - with the bed, desk, chairs, mini fridge, and tv. Internet access is available throughout the hotel wirelessly with a cabled connection in the rooms. The dining room is open from 7:30am with a variety of cold foods and you can also request eggs. Breakfast is included.

Every staff member I interacted with was very friendly and worked to ensure we had a good stay. The owners are also quite friendly and were happy to answer any questions I had or help with suggestions of nearby places to eat.

It's a very safe, comfortable place to stay in a good part of Coch. Highly recommended and I will return on future travels for work.

Room Tip: The rooms closer to the front of the hotel tend to have a stronger connection to the Internet, if yo...

“This hotel is so good I stayed in too much”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

I would give this hotel 5 stars if only it was a bit more fun.It looks like an old colonial hotel and has a lot of good features
I eventually moved out to a downmarket hotel that was far more fun. This hotel was good when the company was paying but blew my budget for a long stay. If you are thinking of taking your wife and kids to Cochabamba then its a good hotel for you. If you are out looking for nightlife then its not for you.
Looks like chrisBrazil likes it too . I think he is a mate of mine . Gissa call Piehead

“Gracious Living”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

This is an exceptional boutique hotel. The bedrooms are exceptionally spacious because the hotel was once a private residence. My room had a lovely walk- in closet and exquisite woodwork. The staff, without exception, were helpful and friendly. The garden and grounds are serene, private, beautiful. It will be difficult to go to an "ordinary hotel" after experiencing the charm of Hotel Aranjuez.

“Great Place to Stay in Cochabamba”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2011

Six of us came to Cochabamba to visit an orphanage. Hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the capuccinos rivaled Starbucks. Internet service was excellent. Not a Maui five star but a very pleasant hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the garden.

“Old Stlye Hotel with good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 July 2011

I was impressed when they told me the hotel was only 15 years old. I had the impression it was over 30, and that's because it looks like it for the furniture and style. This is not a bad thing. Very well located in the city and with a gentle staff, the Aranjuez still lacks some better guidance to its tourists. The room was very spacious, and so was the bathroom, but I expected better furniture, toiletries, safe. Most of the equipment you can tell are out of date - small tube tv and even smaller heating which didn't help much on their winter. The breakfast was very good and the staff very kind. I confess I was expecting a bit more for 90 USD, which is a good amount for Bolivian standards these days - in comparison I stayed in other hotels in Bolivia for the same or just a bit more expensive with a MUCH better quality. Would I recommend or even go back to the Aranjuez? Yes, I would, but think it deserves some face lifting or pricing down. Oh, they do have a lovely garden and nice swimming pool!
