“Nice modern hotel, close to the airport”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 February 2012

We took advantage of the brunch and sleep offer which is great. The brunch is excellent just make sure you book early. They don't really cater for couples and will only hold 5 or 6 tables for them. These tend to be in poor locations, our first table was close to the kids play area which in its self was no problem till the unsupervised kids started to treat our bench seat as part of an assault course to get to the candy floss man.
The room was good very clean a couple of points to note, you only get one small bottle of complementary water. As mentioned in other reviews the beds are hard and the pillows very soft, we did find a card saying we could change them in the bedside draw, to late though as we didn't find it till the next morning.
We didn't bother with the breakfast in the hotel, I m sure the quality of food would of been good but they don't serve pork products a small point I know but as we were visiting from Saudi it is a treat. When I asked why I was told it was because the hotel was owned by the royal family. So I am guessing it is a cultural thing as pork is forbidden to Muslims, as is alcohol of which there was no shortage of at the brunch................
Check in and check out were first class nothing was to much trouble, restaurant service was also very good.
Overall we would stay here again and would recommend to others especially if you need a room to stay before flying out or indeed after a flight if you have to head back across the causeway.

Dear guest

Many thanks for the nice comments and on our award winning brunch. It is really something special to come on a Friday to our brunch which it is more of an event. I used to fly in Kuwait just for the day before I started to work here and to enjoy the brunch.

Best regards

“A Cozy stay and a unique hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I love this hotel so much, I like the friendly team that works there, I like the quality of the gastronomy and most of that I like the bar, the band is really good and entertaining, and I have never seen a better hotel would serve the Friday brunch better than Moevenpick Bahrain..
Beautiful rooms and beautiful swimming pool, I think everyone should give this hotel a visit, so you would know what I mean…

Room Tip: Try the massage, it’s really good…

“Nice, clean and comfortable but a little lacking on the service side.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2012 via mobile

This is the second time I've stayed here in the past two months. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The beds are nice but the pillows are a bit soft. Restaurants are a bit expensive. However the food is great. My only complaint is the service, specifically the front desk staff and the lack of porters. During both of my visits here, there was no porter at the front to assist with luggage either time. The man at the reception was a bit abrupt and not very friendly. The rest of the hotel staff specifically housekeeping and room service were very pleasant and helpful.

“Great location to airport”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We've stayed at this hotel multiple times for 2 various events: 1. It's very close to the airport and offers a free shuttle from the hotel that runs at your request. 2. They have an amazing brunch on Friday mornings with unlimited alcohol (unheard of in this country). For that reason, it's been beneficial to book at hotel to stay the afternoon or evening if you've been over served.

The rooms are spacious and clean with great bedding and towels. Service is quick and prompt, and everyone is ready to help. Everyone speaks English that you can actually understand which is also a big benefit for this area.

The bar prices are a bit high, but they have a decent happy hour. The restaurant doesn't open until 7pm, but you can get snacks beforehand if necessary.

Overall, it's a great experience and hotel. The price is a bit high, but is justified in the service you receive and cleanliness of the hotel, along with the quick service to the airport across the road.

“Excellent Airport Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011

This transit hotel is located very close to the airport. It’s exceptionally clean and the rooms are spacious and well decorated. Room service is 24 hours, there is a lovely bar and restaurant. It is, however, not located well to Manama. I can’t manage a complaint.

Highly recommended for transit stays or for just a rest in the bar before heading to the dismal confines Bahrain International.
