“Run down and over crowded”

We rented a cabin which met our expectations but were surronded by a family who put 6 tents on one set. Much to our dismay, the family was rude and intrusive. Clearly not the fault of the park but enforcing the rules is and they failed. From the campsites, to the pool, to the kids activities - the place was over crowded. Not to mention, run down. I would not recommend it.

Not impressed at all, we camped in a tent , on a tent site, but we had a huge winnibago right next to us with a heater running off and on all night. The site that was directly behind us had a huge family of mexicans 3 sites about 6 cars, spanish music for 3 days and nights they were loud till after midnite every night, no security to be found and only an answering maching at the office after 10 pm. We woke up one morning to find all of our firewood stolen and the thieves left us a half empty bottle of boose on our picnic table, you guessed it it was mexican Tequila. When we went to the office that morning the manager said he would be right down over an hour later we went back to the office to find the manager reading a news paper flyer he didnt even remember who we were. This place was aweful, pricey, loud, and no security.

“awesome campground!”

We love this place and have been many times here. Unfortunately we were not able to make it this year because we decided to try other places, which now we regret. This place is so family orientated and has so many great things for the kids to do-like candy bar bingo, ceramics, mini golf, arts and crafts, games, hayride, slip and slide, movies, entertainment and dances, pie eating contests, go carts, boating, etc, etc, etc. The spray park is awesome! Also the meet and greet with the characters was so fun for the kids. The place is so close to Weirs Beach and other aweseom places to see. We rented a cabin and were very happy with it. We are hoping to get back there next year!

“Not Happy”

We stayed at the park for bike week 2009. Yes, we ride a Harley and we are normal. It was expensive and there was a camper on our site when we checked in well after check in time. It took two hours before we could back the camper in.

Then, we discovered they had a fire policy that was not posted on their web-site. all fires MUST be out by 12:30AM. We occasionally stay up late, especially if we sleep in during rain. This night, we came back from our ride around 9PM and cooked dinner. At 12:30 while I had a hamburger in my hand, two campground workers came into our site with a bucket of water! I refused to let them put out the fire and they showed up five minutes later with the after hours manager and a COP. After some harassment from the cop, they poured water on our fire and put it out.

Upon checking out, I had to wait another 45 minutes while they tracked some some idiot that parked their trailer blocking the road out. Why didn't they notice that before I did?

I won't stay there again.

“A blast!!!”

I went Monday through Friday with 2 of my friends and we all brought our kids ranging from 2 years to 13 years old. We stayed in the deluxe cabin and it was ver clean and we had enough room for 10 of us. My son is still talking about how much fun he had at yogi park. He loved the hay ride every morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the pools were clean. The playground was huge. My daughter who is 13 loved bingo and ceramics. As adults it was so relaxing because we could relax while the kids ran around. I already reserved a cabin for next year! The only negative was the sandy beach wasnt really a beach!
