“Loved it for what it is.....”

we just returned from a weekend @ Jellystone park and we loved it! We went with our two teenagers and two other teens that were friends of our kids. We loved it for what it was.....a " resort" style campground. we went into this weekend expecting that were going to be a LOT of kids, and there were.....EVERYWHERE! All the activities were great. Our teens loved them. My husband and I felt comfortable letting them all go off to activities on there own. Our group of kids ranged in age from 12-14.
This isn't a wilderness, peace and quiet kinda place. All the groups camping in our area of the campground were super nice and respectful of the " hibernation hours ". We will definately be back. All the staff we came in contact with during our weekend were more than helpful and worked super hard to please all the guests.

We had a great time at Jellystone park. All of the activities were very well run and scheduled, the staff was extremely courtous and helpful. My kids had a lot of fun!!!! We will be back! The sites we stayed at were nice and shaded, away from everything and it worked out perfectly. loved that they have golf cart rentals. Bathrooms were very clean in our area, and our cabin was nice and clean when we arrived!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

“Ghetto-stone!”

WOW!...We camp a lot with families and a group of kids (3-8). We expected that Jellystone would be kid friendly and a fun family atmosphere. We were wrong! The KISS108 music blaring until 10PM at the pavilion was a little much. We were in the back corner and literally had to talk louder at the campfire to hear each other. No kidding...over 3 days, the police and 2 rounds of ambulances showed up at different sites. The staff had no interest in quelling the sites that were overly loud unless you asked them. Don't get me wrong, we are mid 30's with kids and want the kids to experience a fun camping environment...Jellystone is totally mismanaged and the only reason they are still in business is because they hide behind the 'Yogi Bear' facade. Don't go here unless you want an urban feel to your weekend.
The only reason I gave 2 stars rather than one is because we totally lucked out with our sites...we had a section that allowed the 3 families to hang out together..we literally came to the conclusion that our sites we by far the best....we were amazed how bad the majority of the sites were. For families looking to enjoy the camping experience ....do not be tricked by the Jellystone name until they change management and their approach to family camping. Did I mention that our site had papers and trash on the site when we arrived...we had to pick it up before we set up our stuff.....awesome!

“Bye Bye Yogi Last time I will ever go to the Campground”

This was our first trip to Yogi Bear in Ashland. This will be our last! The pools were awful. So dirty I didn't even go in and cringed when my children were in them. The place was dirty. The mini golf if you call it that was run down. The "beach" was not a beach just a path way to a gross river. Canoes coming in and out of the beach all day makes it hard to even sit on the "beach". The staff was sooooo relaxed everything was late. People smoking /drinking at the kids pool all day. The hayride was horrible and my kids never saw Yogi!!! Not worth the price. Find another place to family camp I felt very dirty all weekend and we left a day early!!!!

“Ghetto-stone”

Small, over crowded and run down. We asked for a more private site because we have a puppy, so they put us on the shoulder of the highway. Friday night the rif-raff cam in and took over the whole street including loud music and marijuana. The health inspector shut down down the pool, appearently there was a "baby ruth" floating in the pool amung other gross things. Our friends log cabin was on the road for the main entrance and the fire pit is literally 12 inches from the pavement. We had to worry about the kids getting run over while trying to toast marshmallows. We like to have fun, drink and play games with the kids but this place was rediculous. They have a lot of stuff for the kids and the beach was nice, other than that it was like camping in the Ghetto.
