We had a prepaid reservation, made through Travelocity, at another Alliance motel, but when we arrived at 8pm that place had given away our room. The Sunset had just gotten a cancellation, which made us the luckiest folks in town that day. (If you are thinking that you'll be able to get a room in Alliance without making an advance reservation, use our experience as a warning. We called five other hotels before finding this one room). Our room was modest, but very clean and comfortable and an excellent value. Th woman who checked us in was delightful--very accomodating and a great ambassador for the town and its attractions.

The Sunset Motel is well priced and very comfortable. The rooms were EXTREMELY CLEAN and the front desk was very polite and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone saying a few days or even weeks at a time.

I was going to give my grandaughter a pool party, and i gave them a depoist , and signed a concract . The next day they called me and canceled it , they told me to come and get my depoist back, but no aploizge or anything in fact the owner was quite rude when we tried to work something out for a different day to have it. I feel that nothing can mend a small childs heart after you tell them they can have a pool party then to have to tell them the next day they can't . She cried for an hour due to the careless, heartless nature of the owner.

Price was right. Room was comfortable, WIFI, microwave, refrig. spread a little worn but everything was clean. Since it had an RV park next door, there was a laundry which was convenient.
Prior Family Restaurant close by -- VERY good breakfasts!
