I actually stayed there for 3-4 years in a row in Feb of the year in the mid 2001-4. Somethings could have been better, but if you want are a whiner, oh well. We could have used a BIGGER hot water heater, but it was -20 or below in the mornings. We had a great time every time we were there and treated well. The food was good, prime rib had a line awaiting on Friday nights. I can remember sleeping in a tent in Glaicer Park in a tent with the grizzlies out side in the '50's when you could have been the prime rib....... I've backpacked for many years and there is always people who are ill prepared and have no reason to be where they are because they didn't do their homework.
I have enjoyed every time I have stayed at the Gables winter or summer.
It is place that has CHARACTOR and it's OWN CHARM, not a cookie cutter!!!
