lets be honest here. the place has a nice view and is close to the lake but those rooms are substandard. people expect a useable bathroom nowdays. this place is not suitable if you bring your wife. she will not be happy.

Been staying at the 7 Gables for over 10 years. Jeff and Carolyn always make you feel like this is your home away from home. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
Best Chicken Fried Steak in Montana and you have to try the Cornish Pasties.
Moose Drool Beer and the greatest locals around, make this my favorite stop of all times.
I swear the singer Johnny Horton got his start here.

Will - The last of the Three Amigo's

This is a small, I mean small hotel right down the road from Discovery Ski Basin. Great prices, nice local owners and staff. Jeff and Carolyn the owners took time out of there day to make sure that the kids were having a great time.
There are only 10 rooms, but they are a good size. Nothing fancy, but we were 3 miles from the ski area. So affordable it was unreal! They have a small bar and dining located just next to the hotel.
They are located right across from Georgetown Lake, Montana. The hotel is located on Hwy 1 15 miles from Anaconda and 15 miles from Phillipsburg.
We arrived late and the kitchen was just about to close, they made sure to get us checked in and kept the dining room open for us.
We liked the small town feel so much, that we made reservations for the 4th of July and are going back!
