We received the requested "pet room" as we had to bring our cat. The room was clean and neat. Plenty of towels, paper goods, etc. Staff is very friendly and competent. Prices are very good. This is the only motel within 40 miles that is worth staying in. Nice coffee and breakfast selection in the morning, and everything is clean and works. This is our second stay and it won't be our last.

I was a little leery in booking a room here ... it's the only motel in this town. I thought that we might find a "take-it-or-leave-it" attitude, but that is definitely not the case.

It's very quiet - we heard very little noise from traffic or other guests. When our plans changed and we stayed three days instead of the planned one day, the clerk did an extensive juggling act to keep us from having to change rooms during our stay (and gave the bumped person a free upgrade to seal the deal). The continental breakfast is average, but very acceptable. We would definitely stay here again.

Hint - the AARP rate is significantly lower if you book online, versus booking directly with the front desk.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Great place to stay while visiting the Laura Ingalls Wilder home in Mansfield.
