This hotel was a great surprise! I didn't know what to expect but it was the best hotel out of 9 we stayed in on our European vacation.
Very clean, modern,large room for Europe hotels. The food was fabulous. Each morning was a treat. The couple that runs the hotel are so helpful and they want to please. We loved it.

This hotel is fantastic. The owners are constantly present making sure that all of your desires are met. The rooms are rather small, but immaculate and ultra modern. Fantastic showers, full mini bar and very comfortable beds. The location is absolutely the best. And, to top it off the restaurant is terrific. The breakfasts are the best we have ever had in any European hotel.

If you have a chance to come to Austria, don't miss Hotel Zum Weissen Hirschen.

The hotel is in a great location with a nice restaurant and beautiful lakeside terrace. The staff was VERY attentive. My wife is confined to a wheelchair and we were given a beautiful 4th floor room with a fantastic lakeside view. The very ample lift made the room easy to get to . The staff was way over the top. At every meal the owner checked to see that everything was as we needed. Did I say over the top??? Well we had scheduled a hot air balloon ride which was cancelled by poor wind direction in the morning. When the balloon company called the hotel at noon to say the trip was on again, they sent two young ladies out into the town trying to locate us. They found us and we got to the balloon company in time!! Now that is something I will always remember as it is service beyond anything we have ever recieved in Europe or the U.S. Thank you to all at the hotel. My highest recommendations!!!!

We planned to stay in the iconic destination to have leisurely walks and enjoy the lakes and mountain country side. The hotel was a surprise, magnificantly appointed and managed. Directly opposite from Weissen Roessle and their garden cafe under mature trees directly on the lake. It would be advisable to pay extra for lake or partial lake view - it is like a picture book view. The onslaught of day tourist between 10 and 5 pm makes the town crowded, but at night and early in the morning it was lovely. The Management did a few extras for us, which we needed done due to a sad passing of close friend of ours. The private ownership and personal touches were appreciated.
