My husband and I stayed at the Katrin in May of last year and we loved it! We traveled throughout Europe, so our stay was brief (3 nights I think), but it was definately one of our favorite places and we will stay there again if we are able to make it back to Austria. It is a beautiful place and the service was superb! We could not complain about a thing! We found the Katrin on the Internet and booked directly with them. I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived. Sometimes, pictures on the Internet can be deceiving. But we were not disappointed. It was affordable, clean, quaint, and very comfortable. You can't go wrong with a stay at the Pension Katrin!

My husband and I have stayed at the Pension Katrin 14 times over the last 21 years , a few times with family and friends. When we started going, the Pension was run by Wolfgang and Inge Henn. It is now run by their daughter, Katherina Unterberger. The family are very friendly and helpful. The rooms at the front of the house overlook the street, are very large, comfortable, and have plenty of wardrobe space. All the rooms at the front have balconies. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is excellent. It is conveniently located, right beside the bus stop and the theatre, yet is sufficiently away from the busy centre of the village. A five minute walk brings you to the lakeside. The Katrin does not have lakeside access themselves, but they share access with Strandbad Arndt, about 10 minutes walk away. We can recommend this hotel to anyone who does not like a large hotel, but prefers instead, a family run, friendly hotel.
