We stayed at the Drury Inn in Arnold MO from 7/22/05 through 7/27/05. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Our room was clean. The morning breakfast was great. Nice Pool area. I was concerned about the neigborhood since I didn't know much about the area but we had no problems whatsoever! I would recommend the Drury for your stay as well! We were close to all of the attractions of St. Louis but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Had my parents stay there over thanksgiving. special home for he holidays promotion. Lots of kinds of food for the included breakfast.

We Stayed here August 8-9, 2003. We decided to stay out from downtown St. Louis mainly because of the $$. The Hotel is clean, BUT the bathrooms are very SMALL. The shower head is just the right height if you are 5'5" or shorter. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Pool was clean. There is a Denny's rest. next door to the pool. Watch out if your wife is fit and wears a bikini.

We got a great deal (half the regular rate) over the net, for a two night stay. The price caused me to be leary about what the hotel might be like, but I couldn't see paying over twice as much to stay downtown. We were so pleasantly surprised with the Drury Inn! I'm extremely picky about cleanliness, and although there was room for improvement in the room, it was still better than average. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided (cable tv, hair dryer, clock radio, iron and board, free local calls, etc.) Although the location wasn't exactly picturesque, it was a decent neighborhood that I fet safe in. It didn't take long to get to any of our tourist destinations on the expressways, so it was worth the money we saved staying a bit out of town. They have a small but immaculately clean outdoor swimming pool, and a little exercise room and laundry room. A MAJOR perk was the free breakfast - a nice selection of both hot and cold items in a buffet, served all morning, so that you can eat whenever you get up, and begin your day from there, instead of finding somewhere else to have breakfast and shelling out more money. The other thing we liked the most was the super friendly and helpful staff. We checked in within a minute. They had printout information (hours, directions, phone numbers) of the destinations we were interested in seeing. They were helpful in recommending good restaurants within the area (there are many to choose from). The cleaning staff even lent us some excellent stuff that got the gum off the seat of our rented car! And all with a smile.
