I stayed here recently for two separate one-night trips. The first trip, I reserved a standard king room, which was clean, but had outdated beddings -- I'd call the color of the sheet set "hospital blue." The second trip, I reserved one of the more expensive double rooms, which had much better, more current beddings and overall just seemed like a better room. Breakfast is provided, but it would be better to have real scrambled eggs instead of egg patties. Having the lobby locked at various times during the day was annoying. Overall, this was a better option than driving to-and-from Tupelo or Columbus to spend the night.

In the afternoon the lobby is locked and I had to ring a bell to check in. Sign reads "Ring Bell for Service." Mr. Patel should be on duty in the lobby or hire someone. I refuse to play that game. Bed in room is broken. Lobby smells of natural gas or propane. Internet is provided through Ovation and requires me to sit through authentication by advertising sponsors. Parking is decent and this hotel is located just off Highway 45.

Aberdeen is not particularly inviting either. The other hotel in town is old and seedy so this is the only choice. The better choice is to skip Aberdeen, MS altogether and head over to Tupelo. So boring.

This hotel is really nice and clean. The staff if friendly and helpful. Not much to choose from in Aberdeen, but this place would be good and a great value wherever it was!
