I have been bidding this area on Priceline for 10 years and this is the first time this hotel came up. I was pretty shocked. I never considered a Super 8 a 2* but decided to stay their and see for myself.
It was pretty horrible. It was worn out, patched up and old. Mats covered the carpet in the entryway, bathrooms had either mold or dirt where duct tape was pulled off the tub base, holes in the comforter, stains in the chairs, furniture chipped, sheets were inside out and had a hair on them. They had breakfast......but only 3 tables!
The only good thing was that we were only there one night.
I had bid on priceline for a two star and for 10 years that meant the Fairfield, but not anymore. Check out the pictures. They say it all.

No extra pillows or blankets on premises. Toaster smoked from crumbs and only 1/2 slots worked. No surveys to fill out for my comments. Noisy air conditioner in room and no coffee packets the 2nd day. Even the desk staff could not find any in the breakfast area!
The room was fairly clean.

The hotel met all of my expectations and more. Wonderful. The initial person I spoke to was not going to switch out the room I had to make several phone calls“The hotel was excellent for family travel.

For the price I paid, it served it's purpose. The rooms were clean and adequate. The breakfast was nothing special but it was average for a hotel. However, the customer service was fairly poor. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk. I waited 20 minutes and searched the surrounding area for a desk clerk, but no one showed up. My friends and I were tired of waiting around and went out for a while. When we cam back, someone was finally there to check me in. They had my reservation but botched it in that they initially gave me a 1 bed room, when I went back they changed it and got it right. It was an ok stay. If you're just going to be there to sleep, it's a good value, otherwise I'd recommend somewhere else.
