Reserved a block of 6 rooms 6 months in advance. The motel scattered everyone throughout the motel instead of keeping us in a group. Staff was terrible they threatened to kick us out of the motel constantly and it wasn't even us making the noise but they wouldn't listen to us. Just kept saying final warning.. BEWARE if you are a group of 2 or more do not go here you will be targeted and harrassed.
We got stranded in Alexandria when the snowstorms closed the interstate. It was a good location because it's right off the highway and in a parking lot with a WalMart and a bunch of restaurants. The hotel itself was clean and modern. The pool and hot tub were nice. I did have to ask for my sheets to be changed though because there were brownish marks on them. Even though it appeared to be a stain (the sheets had been washed) it still grossed me out. I called the front desk and immediate service was provided. It was an overall good experience. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was really good too. Along with the traditional continental breakfast items there were also waffles, eggs, and sausages - mmm good!
This is really a very nice hotel. The staff there genuinely seems to care about their guests, the hotel is clean and well kept, the rooms are nicely appointed and clean. Bathroom area with toilet and shower is tiny, but the vanity area is outside in the room itself and the vanity counter is a bit higher than average, making it very convenient (I am a tall individual). The bedding could have been a bit nicer, the mattress pads really did not fit the beds and tended to slip off. Not a huge issue though.
Continental breakfast was above average. Hot items included (waffles, sausage, eggs, biscuits/gravy) and the usual offerings such as cereal, fruit, yogurt, sweet rolls, etc. It was well stocked and attended to regularly by the hotel personnel.
Pool area and whirlpool was also clean and pool towels were available. The pool and spa were not overchlorinated either, as some hotels do.
If in the area again, I would gladly stay at this hotel.
Not the best hotel but it's decent. Cleanliness can sometimes be an issue but for the most part it is ok. Good value
