If you're in this area of Minnesota and need somewhere to stay, it would be OK. Not superb by any standards. The hotel staff were all very grumpy, if you could find them. The desk man spent more time outside smoking than anything else. We were there for a family wedding nearby and other family members said the housekeeping only changed out the towels, didn't make the bed or vacuum. We kept the DND sign on the door during the day we were out so as not to have them bother with our room. The rooms were decent sized but the beds, sheets, and pillows were horrible and being right off of the interstate, it wasn't that great of a night's sleep, even after a long day at a wedding/reception/dance. The breakfast was OK - cereal, waffles, bread, and you could heat up a sausage patty/cheese if you wanted. The pool was heated which was nice but the whirlpool was barely warm and the sauna was out of order. The ice machine was broken and the hotel staff didn't go out of their way by any means in assisting guests to get ice or having ice available. The best part about the stay in the small town was that there was a nice home town restaurant/bar (good meal great price) and liquor store right next door!
