The rooms themselves were huge and looked nice but.... We stayed 1 night in Jan., the rooms were very cold, the fireplace was warm if you were within 10 feet of it. Both aerators of the bathroom sinks were in need of cleaning, you got a shower just trying to get a glass of water. You could have filled either sink by using the faucet of the other! The carpeting was soaked because the fridge had been turned off- I spent about a half hour cleaning the mess from the "defrosting"(it was to late to call anyone and I was to tired to be bothered). The breakfast was not impressive at all and the breakfast room was freezing, worse than the bed rooms. The master bedroom was not soundproofed, lots of noise from the next room- not the tenants fault, so bad we had to sleep in the other room. Overpriced and over rated! Staff offered no apologies, not even a blank, insincere attempt at an apology.

Afton House Inn is a great spot to slow down and take a relaxing break from a busy life. A meal in the fine dining restaurant is a great way to spend an evening. The rooms are unique and offer a great slice of old time charm with enough modern amenities to make you feel comfortable. Only complaint was a bad shower. We will be back for sure!

Charming bed and breakfast right on the river. The staff was friendly and professional. The dinner at both the restaurants was amazing and the best surprise was the fantastic wine bar on property. The wine selections were fabulous!!!
This is an amazing get away for a romantic weekend.
We especially enjoy summer weekends in Afton....so much to do in this quaint little town.

My boyfriend and I celebrated my birthday here. It was one of my best yet to date! We tasted wine at Swirl, had dinner at Current and stayed at The Afton Inn. The service, food and staff were better than we expected! We will be back!
