Booked this hotel based on the Marriott name. After being woken up, 3 times, by a noisy hallway party, I asked the partiers to quiet down. One of the partiers tried to get in my room, pushing on the door...I was terrified!!. The door hit me in he face and left a bruise! I called down to the front desk, and the VERY sleepy night manager answered. I told him the situation and he said he would come up and talk to the partiers. I told him to call the police. I waited, but the partiers continued to be loud for another 40 minutes and the police never showed up. I was afraid of the partiers, who were in the rooms on both sides of my room, so I waited until I felt safe enough to leave my room to talk to the night manager in person. He didn't even extend an apology or expanation. He said the day manager would call....sure! He never called. I was also bitten by bedbugs! Don't waste your money here!

Spent two nights here for some shopping at Great Lake Crossing. The hotel is about a 5 minute drive from the mall. Rooms are very small and the bathroom was so small it was hard to close the door. It reminded you of a older motel room. Yet the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. We like the outside rooms were you can drive up and leave your car right outside of the room. It was the cheapest room in the area and I thought for the value I would stay there again. The breakfast was ok in the am , your typical continental breakfast.
I would definately stay there again.

Location was great - close to Great Lakes Crossing and also accessible to Birch Run outlets. Rooms were clean and spacious and a buffet breakfast was offered in the morning. Staff was friendly and price was very resonable. I definitely would stay here again.

In my experience this is very good value for money. On the 4th of July weekend almost all hotels were high priced. We found a very affordable room at Fairfield and the location is very convenient, easy to reach from I75, close to Great Lakes Crossing and middle way from Detroit to Birch Run and Frankenmuth at a fraction of the price of the hotels there. The service is kind, the buffet breakfast is very good. If you expect a Marriot resort standard you will be dissapointed. Is business standard and since I like to park in front of my room we were happy with the exterior corridor. I would repeat it if I come back.
