I arrived at this location on October 1st, 2011. I was told to park in the back for easy access to my room. I was greeted by trash near the back entry door, as well as the whiff of marijuana being smoked on the first floor. The swimming pool is outside and could not be used by my kids because it is now closed for the season. The suite was not equiped with hangers in the closet for your clothing. The bedroom area of the suite did not have a television. Do not wste your time and hard earned money as I did. I checked out the next morning and walking directly across their parking and booked a room with their competitor.

I've stayed at this hotel for 4 months and I have nothing but positive things to say about the hotel and staff. The smell other guest have commented on is the result of Indian food being cooked. There are a number of contractors from India staying at the hotel and the food they cook has a unique smell.

Every so often on the weekends you will get an out of town group; hockey team, dance team, etc....and you get the normal issues when a large group stays in a hotel; noise and kids.

The hotel could use some updating; new carpet, window covering and bath fixtures..But all in all a good hotel and great staff.

We arrived late and tired with three kids under 10. The check-in was unremarkable; but we noticed an odd smell when we entered the elevator. When we exited the elevator, the smell grew stronger as we noted a group of 6-8 people hanging out in the hallway. It was tough to settle in with the crowd outside, and so we were probably very sensitive to the problems with the room. It felt like a college dormitory, with tired, servicable, sturdy furnishings. We noticed stains in the carpet, tears or cuts in the blankets and stains in the bathroom. Looking out the window to watch our car, we noticed that the screens had been reduced to shreds. Finally, the commotion came to a head as the front desk the crowd in the hall, finally involving the police. We didn't linger the next morning.

Nice clean beautiful hotel. Near food,close to great lakes crossing outlet(4 miles ),whole food market,meijers,Walmart super center etc.about 2miles. Also Chrysler corp world headquarters and museum within walking distance.plus Dave and buster about 10+ miles. Besides all of the above, the staff at this hotel are really nice
