used as a reward night and expected a lot more. Used to having nice rooms at comfort suites, this must have been the oldest room in the hotel, couch sunken in middle, old TV did not feel "clean " desperatly needed updating...mattress were great though, very noisy, could hear everthing from hallway and people walking around above at 3am, blower on air cond would not stay on, would shut off when reached certain temp. so unable to drown out noise. About 10 at night noticed tiny little bugs flying around like someone who had left all the doors open at night and the little bugs that are attracted to light, was totally gross, had already unpacked, kids in jammies and one was already sleeping so left bath light on to keep them away from us in bed. Tried to follow hotel directions to applebees earlier in evening but since map was wrong-hard to understand got lost in a very bad neighborhood with lots of people staring at us- had to pass giant protest or vigil in front of hotel, could not tell what it was since it was dark, wish there were closer easier to find restaraunts, pool needed scrubbed looked dingy, hot tub did not have jets that worked, jets came out as a small squirt, told desk clerk that room needed fumigated and that there were dead bugs all over mirrors, she said she could not believe it, never heard of a nat that was drawn to light, and that they would not be compensating us or trying to make us happy since room was free anyways( they do not need repeat customers) so when we go to Birch Run outlet mall we will stay somewhere else definately

This was the second time we've visited this hotel. A last minute change in plans for some our family prompted us to ask for a room downgrade which the hotel staff took care of without question. Beautiful view of a small lake from the back of the hotel. Lots of choices for breakfast food.

I don't remember why I stayed at this hotel.....what I paid.....or where exactly the property was.....however I do remember that there was nice service.....decent rooms....and free parking. The other great thing about the location of this hotel was that it was near I-75.....and the Great Lakes Crossing Mall....which I really enjoyed. I agree with some of the other reviews that the rooms were a bit outdated....but since I only stayed one night I didn't really notice. I would stay here again just for the ease of reaching the I-75.....eating....and shopping.

Stayed here while visiting a friend in the area. We had a nice stay, breakfast was good. But the hotel is nothing special. Rooms could use some updating, but the hotel is in a convenient area. If ever in the area again this hotel would still be on my list of places to stay.

ps. Front desk staff were all very nice, but the manager lady always seemed to be in a bad mood she looked like she was mad at the world she needs to smile more. :D
