“For Big Bear...this was good!”

We went to Big Bear last week and stayed at the Northwoods Resort. We drove around town and looked for other hotels, but this one really is the best. The location is PERFECT...you can walk to the famous "Village" and it's walking distance to a Starbucks, the Lake, etc. Overall, it was fine. The rooms are like a miniture Austrian Lodge, clean, soft beds, etc. We stayed on the 4th (top) floor and half the rooms have balconies which were nice. Waking up in Big Bear is great and the balcony allowed us to enjoy the morning sunrise over the pine trees. Really no complaints. We looked at about 20 different hotels and lodges...many were nice, more room, but more $$$. Just walk up to the counter of this Hotel and they will give you a good rate. No complaints at all.

“The Best Vacation Always and Forever!”

We have stayed at Northwoods Resort since I was a baby, we have had a long history here. My mom's parents used to vacation here also, we go way back! Coming up to the Northwoods is the highlight of our entire year! Pam and Ed are excellent hosts! They are very knowledgeable about everything from blueberry picking, hiking, trails, fishing, and pretty much everything there is to know about the Northwoods. The cabins are so beautiful and relaxing! The are rustic and authentic yet comfortable. Ed and family does a beautiful job with the up keep of the cabins and beach front. Pam and her beautiful daughters and a few friends do a wonderful job keeping the cabins sanitary from week to week... Thank You so Much Pam, Ed, Erin, and Amy for such a great place to vacation!

“Loved our stay at Northwoods Resort”

We arrived at Northwoods to our spacious 2-bedroom cabin overlooking AuTrain Lake. We drove our snowmobiles right across the lake for easy access to all of the trails. The cabin was beautiful. We enjoyed out stay! Thanks again Pam and Ed.
