Such a great atmosphere. All rooms have microwave, fridge, large bathrooms. New owners have done a wonderful job with this place. They are very friendly and concerned about your stay being pleasurable. We booked 2 rooms and both were clean, neat and fresh.

Everything started right from check in. We had been driving all over looking for a place to stay and every where else was already booked. I called my mom who got on the website and quickly called and reserved us a room here. We were only 15 minutes away but didn't want to take any chances. While I was waiting my turn to check in I noticed everyone else was paying $79.99 plus tax. So when my turn came up I was charged $89 + of course I questioned the man who by the way does not speek enough English to be running the front desk. He just blew me off. Well I didn't want to give up my room, there was no where else to go. Come to find out it's because we reserved the room. BIG DEAL!!! As far as cleanliness the room was ok. there was open pop in the fridge, something sticky on the counter top and the worst was the hair all over the shower curtain. Other guests were very loud up and down the hallways. And the pool was very "slimey" on the bottom.

This place is in need of a complete cleaning...The state of Michigan needs to inspect this place. Hairs all over the floors in the bathrooms, shower stalls, dirty kleenex under the sink. Carpet stains everywhere. Never stay here again

We were at the Best western for our anniversary and this is the best hotel in town and around a lot of miles. For having the best time, whether it be with family or friend this is the place. It is very very clean and the staff cannot be any better. The rooms and the bathrooms are huge and I mean a good size, clean and comfortable..compared to the tiny ones in most hotels/motels around. They have the biggest pool in town and a jacuzzi good enough to fit 10 people comfortably. It is with in walking distance to shopping and dinning the beach and the waterpark.

PS. Their honeymoon suite is just the best.....WOW... I was impressed. It is worth every penny.
