We needed a place to stay for several days, so the studio with kitchen was very appealing. The positives of this place are: good location, good-sized room with kitchen facilities, comfortable bed, flat screen TV, one-time $5 fee for wi-fi. The minuses: very poor cleanliness, poor maintenance and upkeep, loud and rowdy guests on Saturday night.
We found the staff to be friendly and accommodating on arrival. At times, the front desk was unattended, and we had to call out to the clerk who was in a back office.
Our room smelled strongly of stale cigarettes. I doubt the carpets and drapes have been cleaned since the hotel became smoke-free earlier this year. If you plan to stay here, be sure to ask for a room that has never been a smoking room. We had to ask for a fresh shower curtain, because the original one reeked of mildew. The "fully equipped kitchen" isn't well equipped. We bought our own dish liquid and pot scrubber, and used a wash cloth from the bathroom for our dish rag. We washed all the dishes and cutlery before using them, because we just didn't feel comfortable using them otherwise.
Unless the management pays much better attention to cleanliness and general upkeep, I doubt we will return. Too bad, because we need a place to stay for regular family visits. If it had been cleaner, it is otherwise a decent value.
