The Good: Spacious room, comfortable bed, DVD player, kitchenette. Internet is only 4.99 for entire stay, not per day.
The Bad: Please note that this is one of those hotels that only supplies housecleaning once a week. Not a bad deal for short stays, but my very first impression on the way up to the room was the intense stench from the overloaded garbage cans in the stairwell. Plates/silverware are supplied, but no cooking supplies, so come prepared if you intend to cook your own food. There is no vending/ice machines. There are ice trays in the freezer but if the previous guest didn't fill them you are SOL.
The Ugly: You would think people that only had to clean once a week would do a decent job. However, there were fast food wrappers left in the room, and I noticed the next day that there were short black hairs throughout my shower (I have long blond hair). I still wasn't ready to bash the place, but......I left a note with the front desk as I left in the morning. When I returned that evening the shower was still not cleaned and the desk said they'd get right back to me. An hour later I still hadn't heard anything so I stopped by the desk on my way to dinner. The gentleman said he was the only one there and would come up soon to clean it himself. Two hours later I returned to a shower that was still dirty.
As I left for good the next morning I grabbed some coffee on my way out and saw the same religiously clad employee who took my message the previous morning, who was again lazily chilling out in the breakfast area watching TV. I bit my tongue and left...for good.
At this point I was more annoyed by the service as opposed to the dirty shower and will probably refrain from ever staying at one of these hotels again.
