We have stayed at the Burnt Toast five times so far while visiting our daughter at UMich. We have found both the Williams house and Washington House incredibly comfortable and Sarah is a terrific host. She thinks of every detail and has everything readily available in or near the rooms such as shampoos, soaps, extra washcloths, pod style coffee makers, chocolate and snacks. We love being able to walk to the YMCA and the Main Street restaurants. It is located in a cute neighborhood and Sara has a real flare for decorating so the rooms are very quaint and attractive.

I thought the Inn was clean and the rooms were warm enough at nite. Sarah was very friendly and easy to talk to. I love Buddy and Bo a lot.

Staying at the Burnt Toast Inn was great. It is a blend of funky and elegant, with a warm, relaxed host and 2 great dogs which made it a very comfortable place to stay. The location is ideal--walking distance to anywhere I wanted to go in AA. The purple room worked well for me. It has a beautiful bathroom right next door. Next time when I come back with my husband we will ask for the master suite which has a private bath with a soak tub. Sarah made me feel welcome and cared for the entire time. Breakfasts were delicious and filling. Who could ask for anything more?

Stayed there with friends, got married in the backyard, reception outdoors all at Washington house. Sarah was great to work with coordinating our party from out of town. EZ walk downtown. Would do it all over again.
