“Quite place on great location - just bad breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2010

The location of the hostel is excellent. Really close to the plaza de armas, but because are around a courtyard, they are very quit. The beds are fine and you get a tv in your room. The badroom was okay, good have been a bit cleaner. We only went for the breakfast onces and where dissapointed. Very old bread and a soso egg. But the price is okay, so you can eat breakfast somewhere else.
Most of the staffmembers are very friendly. We only had a problem with one. Because they send a taxi to the airport to pick us up, but other people went with our taxi. So we got a taxi on our own and paid for it. At the end the girl expected us to pay for the other taxi aswell, wich we didn't. (By the way: the charge you 35 bolivianos for pick up from the airpot, while the taxi normally costs 25 bolivianos)

“Simple, lovely, center of town, most excellent staff”

Rooms at street are noisy so try to get into the court yard. Rooms are plain but have everything you need. Staff will make your stay comfortable and acomodate you in any way possible. Felt like being at home with family! The owner picked us up at the airport! Definitely recommend it.

“Beautiful place right in the centre”

We moved here from another hostel and we're so glad we did. It's clean, spacious, quiet and the staff are great. Breakfast is included and is pretty good also. It's also very reasonable considering that it was only 20 Bolivianos more than the place we moved from but was like moving from a no star hotel to a three star.

“Fabulous hostel, more like a hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2010

We felt very at home in this hostel. It is more like a hotel as they do not have the usual facilities of hostels such as internet and it was quiet when we arrived so it did not have the atmosphere of some hostels. But the staff were so friendly and warm. It is a lovely place to stay as a couple or as a group of friends. The included breakfast was excellent, (eggs toast, fruit, cereal yoghurt. jam butter, coffeee tea and hot chocolate and juice like a small buffet). The rooms have cable TV and the beds were really comfortable. Everyday they have a room service too (make the beds and clean the bathroom) which is a lovely bonus in a hostel. It is very close to the main plaza (1 block walk) so there was a bit of traffic noise in the morning and evening but not enough to stop you having a great nights sleep. Sucre is a quiet town and this is a great place to re-charge your traveling batteries. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming this way.

“Central place to stay in Sucre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 May 2009

When i passed through Sucre, i wanted to stay in one of the colonial buildings, and this is certainly a good example. I stayed here for two nights in December 2008. Great, central location, only a few steps away from main square and great restaurants. Safe and comfortable place to stay. The people at reception are helpful enough. Be prepared however to speak spanish.

Rooms was large enough with cable TV and quite clean.

At the time of my stay it was a bit empty (also a bit pricier than some of the hostels nearby). Due to a bit higher price fellow backpackers stayed away, but at breakfast i met some interesting bolivian people. Breakfast was decent, nothing really extraordinary.
