We stayed for a week at this apartment hotel and were pleased with the experience. Our unit (the smallest type) had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room and a large balcony. This hotel is directly across the street from the ocean and a small rocky area protected for wildlife. Sea lions hang out on the south side of the large rock. The carefull observer will spot penguins among the more conspicuous birds. A fine sand beach is a few hundred metres to the south. The spacious master bedroom has a comfortable double bed. The small bedroom has two single beds. The kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, fridge and a modest assortment of cooking utensils, plates, glasses etc. A request for a sharper knife and some cleaning supplies was dealt with promptly. We found our unit to be reasonably quiet at night. Waves crashing into the rocks and sea lions were the main night sounds. Things might be different in high season. Some staff members can speak English well while others know as much English as I do Spanish and we muddled through without too much difficulty. We recommend the fish at Restaurant Pacifico, a short walk to the north.
