The lobby of the hotel is nice looking and misleading. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival, but disappointed once I experienced the quality of service and saw my room. Rooms are extremely run down and look like they have not been renovated since the 70s. The noise from the street below can be heard at all hours of the night (even if you are on a high floor). This is the sort of place where six teenagers pack into a single room for a weekend away from their parents. The hallways are like a high school party with kids leaving their doors open and the party spilling out into the hallways. It feels like spring break. Hotel staff seem to either lack the ability or the authority to problem solve and improve the guests' experiences. In addition, we were led to believe the hotel had a pool; however, the pool was not open (in January--summer in Vina del Mar). I would try to find a better place. The Sheraton is a much nicer hotel in Vina del Mar.
