There's nothing outstanding about this hostel, except maybe for the premises: it's located in a great mansion with a beautiful front garden. Otherwise, the rooms are decent but the bathroom in the private double room would need to be fixed up a little bit: the bottom of the walls seems moldy.

It's located in the hills, so be prepared for some exercise going up and down. It's very close to Playa Caleta Abarca (maybe 5-min walk), but it's quite far from Playa Acapulco, the main and largest beach (close to 30-min walk).

Me and my wife have stayed there for three days on early december.
First of all it was hard to find in Vina.
It is in a hill and moreover has three stairs between the entrance and our double room. (no ramps for the handicapped...)
The staff is very friendly.
The room 106 looked like a little bit abandoned. There was no signal of it. It was resting inside the room...
The bed was hard and one piece of the curtain was missing, what make us wake up everyday on the sunrise.
The private bathroom was spacious but the shower area was very-very small, hard to understand...
The breakfast was spetacular for Chilean standards.
The garden may be viewed on the photos attached, also kind of mistreated.
There is a TV area, where you may watch a movie listening to a non-stop "bip-bip" from any kind of alarm.
Ok, ok it a hostel, but we are talking about the real hostelling philosophy, double rooms and a good deal. The atmosphera is nice but if they offer one double room, they should take care of it properly.
We do believe they could improve that 106 double room...
It may worth for a solo traveler.

This place was in a good location near some rad places to party and street art. It was also very clean. However, it was not entirely safe and had several problems with robberies. It is also more suited to younger people or those happy to be awake at all hours of the night partying. The staff were helpful with anything inside the hostel. However, when asked to help book tours (as they said they would on their site), very little action was taken. I recommend this hostel to groups or those that like to party.

We came without any booking and fortunately there were rooms free. A member of the staff explained us every place we could visit, the usefull addresses such as banks.
The beds are clean, confortable, with modern colors, and with a private bathroom.
The breakfast is very complete, with milk, juices, cereals, bread, marmelades and butter.
This hostel is ideal if you are looking for somewhere to sleep with friends in dormitories, clean, sheap and confortable.
