I am just back from a 5 day stay in Dubai at the Al Barsha Minc Apartments. We were a group of 4 families with teenagers. Each family had a 125 square meters apartment with 2 bedrooms , 3 bathrooms, one well equipped kitchen and a large livingroom.
All the apartments were perfectly clean, well kept and personnel was always ready to clean the apartments at any time we requested it. We were given spare towels to use to the beach when we asked.
Receptionists and concierges in the lobby were the most helpful and kind people i have ever met. They helped us out in all kind of occasions, even printing out our airline boarding passes from their computer.
Prices are very good and location is a plus: 1 minute from the metro station (where there also is an ATM machine), 5 minutes (on foot) from the Mall of the Emirates where there are lots of restaurants, shops, ATMs and the famous Ski "resort", and 15 minutes drive from the Jumeirah Park Beach.
From our living room and main bedroom windows we had a wonderful view of the Burj Al Arab.
We were very satisfied with our choice and would recommend it to anybody.

It was the worst stay in my life. The rooms were horrible, smelly, dirty and sad. The staff were not at all helpful, even the hotel manager was totally unfriendly and not helpful (you would normally expect a hotel manager to assist)

No food options, no security al all. The entire night was without a security, if something happens, there is no one to assist, the management has not thought of anything on this.

There are plenty of hotel apartments around the place, and many of them are new and much better. My recommendation, stay at the others and be away from Minc. The mall of emirates was a good 15 minutes walk. Other hotel apartments are located just across the mall, so it would make more sense to stay at them.

I stayed here for 2 weeks and I found my sty quit pleasant.. The service was great, the staff were more than helpful.. especially the House Keeping Manager " Channa". He made sure my stay was more than comfortable.

The apartment was spacious, clean..no sign of rats or any insects what so ever, could be due to the fact that the constructions are done and the area was quit finished, I haven`t came across anything of such nature. Any time i needed anything or any changes in my apartment I found Channa such a wonderful help. I would definatly come back again and stay here if the chance permits.

The location is awesome, its close to The Mall of Emarates, close to the Dubai Marina as well, in a quit area where it is not far from the center however, a lot more quite, I would recommend it for families, that`s for sure.

Not to mention, the hotel has a restaurant in the lobby that has great food, also close to a lot of restaurants, taxi`s are cheap so you can go anywhere since this hotel is in a good centralized place, everywhere is around the corner.

Some friends came and stayed at the Holiday Inn which is a walking distance from Minc Al Barsha where I went to see them so we can enjoy watching a football match, I was quit shocked with the amount of prostitutes that took over the Bar in the lobby who were hungry to see a male´s face so they can come running and wouldn´t let us enjoy each others company in peace, also the fact that management was not doing anything about it was more shocking, considering not every single man is after such entertainment

Only a 5 mins from the Mall and you have everything there. When I went there was a still a lot of buidling work around and no proper sidewalks. If that has change then this hotel is a gem.

Its 5* apartments which is a great if there is a lot of you staying and great prices. I would stay here again very easily.
