I stayed for only 2 nights on September 2009 in 1 Bedroom Apartment. The check in was smooth. The room was fantastic. I never expected it will be like that.

The unit is spacious and it includes all our needs. The location of the hotel is not far from the airport and to Dubai Festival City. Even though it can take 15 min max to reach Burj Khalifa Downtown. I tried the dinner and lunch at the main restaurant and it was pleasant experience.

I had no chance to try the pool area or the other facilities.

The hotel is ideal for families and for long stay. The only negative point is the rates are high. However, it deserves every penny you pay.

My wife and I flew to Thailand with Emirates and stayed here for 3 nights travelling in each direction, choosing this property after reading good reviews on Tripadvisor.

Our first 3 night stay was in a Studio Suite and on the way back we had a 1 Bed Suite.

The 1 Bed Suite had plenty of extra space including a double balcony, separate bedroom and a cupboard with washing machine and dryer.

Bathrooms were sparkling clean with a separate walk in shower and Elemis toiletries.

We used the shuttle service every day for transport to Intercontinental Festival City, the journey is only 4-5 minutes and this hotel is directly linked to the shopping/food center.

Most guests I spoke to were long term residents and all had plenty of praise for the hotel.

I loved the top floor swimming pool and oversized heated jacuzzi, using it by myself on 3 evenings.

This hotel is easy to recommend but do not take a Studio Suite, these rooms are too small in my opinion and you would be better off with a hotel suite.

My Wife and i stayed here for 3 nights for the last part of our UAE trip, I'm a priority club Platinum Royal Ambassador member so you are treated like an Ambassador, we were upgraded from a Studio suite to a One Bedroom suite with Creek views. This was our first time staying at a Intercontinental RESIDENCE SUITES, the only difference from a IC Hotel to a IC Residence Suite is that its an ALL Suites resort and guests are longer stayers rather than just overnight. In our suite we had a full kitchen with washer/dryer which we found great to catch up on laundry, There is a great pool and sun deck on the 17th floor with city and airport views great if you want to plane spot? also there are on site restaurant, gym, hair salon, Business centre and located on the top floor is the bar lounge overlooking the Dubai Creek and Skyline.
You can use their free shuttle (Luxury people carrier) that goes across to the IC hotel at the Festival city mall and Crowne Plaza hotel, This service runs all day until very late at night its on call when ever you need it.
Any problem is no problem for the front of house staff, we found this out when we had a minor hiccup with tour we had booked from the UK, the issue was resolved very quickly and professionally by the concierge staff. Once again we cannot praise the staff enough.

We stayed in the InterContinental Residence Suites for two weeks in Oct 2010. On arrival the staff were extremly attentive, very friendly and could do no more for myself and my family. The location in Dubia is perfect as nowhere is more than a taxi ride away, and taxis are not expensive. The swimming pool facilities at the neighbouring InterContinental Hotel are fabulous, and you get free transport to and from this hotel which takes no more than 5 mins. The Italian Restaraunt in the lobby is amazing, had the best meal of our entire vacation here!!!!! The hotel room itself (we stayed in a 2 bed apartment) was truly perfect. The beds were a dream, have never slept so well, the kitchen was great although we did eat out most of the time. Our children loved the full range of TV channels and going swimming every day. All in all, I would highly recommend the Intercontinental Residence Suites, and we will hopefully be returning again next year for another visit.
