We stayed at Nuran Dubai Marina with our 4-month old baby for 6 nights in a 1-bed executive apartment.

Apartment was spacious, with decent-size bedroom, open-plan living space with well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and spacious balcony.

PROS:
- Big bed.
- Large balcony.
- Well-equipped kitchen.

CONS:
- Lack of drawer space in bedroom.
- Sofa bed quite uncomfortable to use as a sofa.
- Bathroom a bit small, with shower over bath.
- Kitchen needs more crockery, cutlery and glasses - there's 2 of everything, which is hopeless if you have friends round.
- Internet connection in the bedroom only, and no WIFI.

Location is excellent if you want to be in Dubai Marina area - just along from the Yacht Club, 5 mins walk to JBR promenade, 5 mins walk to Dubai Marina Mall, a couple of minutes to get on to Sheikh Zayed Road.

There is little construction in the direct vicinity, so it is relatively quiet.

Pool is nice, with sun in the middle of the day. There is a separate kids' pool with limited shade from palm trees.

We didn't use it, but fitness centre looked good.

Overall an excellent base for us in Dubai, and would stay there again. It worked out about half the price of the cheapest beachside hotel, and we got more space for it.

Hotel staff were excllent. the rugs could do with being replaced, but overall the apartment is very clean. the kitchen is missing some items which would be helpful to have, and there is also very little bench space whcih makes cooking difficult. Further, having been in the hotel industry for many years was SHOCKED that we were charged AED 9.00 for a broken glass, when we stayed for 11 days.... shocked shocked shocked..

All the Studio rooms has the connection door to the next Studio room. We actually have heard everything, what our neighbors were doing/saying. This disturbance was very unpleasant and I will never stay in Nuran, at least no at the Studio room anymore.

Service was also very slow. After the cleaning they forgot to leave fresh towels. I called the reception about the matter and it took 2 hours to get the new towels. Also they were saying that you'll get the pool towels at the gym. However at the gym we were told to get the towels from the reception. When my husband went to reception, there wasn't enough towels and they promised to get them straight to the pool for us. It took about an hour and another walk to the receptionist.

I will start with the positives: The studio i had was nice just what person needs. Location is perfect Marina mall is a 5min walk also Almaya supermarket(opened 24hours) is near. Marina walk and beach are just across the bridge, you can also take free shuttle bus to Dubai mall that comes around hotels there. Very soon will near metro station open so then you will be completely mobile around most of Dubai.

Negatives: Gym was a disappointment because clearly there was none to take care of it. Once i saw a cleaning lady coming around but i found machines dirty, some were wobbling or with broken parts, one made such a squeaky noises i gave up using it. There are no towels to use. It is pity because if they put nice new machines or at least take care of the gym and assign assistant there it would surely make a change.

Housekeeping was strange they rang my door around 10am to ask when i want my cleaning done i told them 11 would be fine. I came back at 2pm and nothing was done. Never understood their procedure of asking around if its not done anyway. Also they took some towels but didn't replace them. I have seen better service in this area. There were not bad but I guess training would do them good.

I would definitely recommended to put some basic supplies to kitchen like salt, pepper etc. If you are coming to stay 2weeks you have to buy huge quantities you never use up.
