Great Hortel in good location - but with very small swimming pool ... and prices at the BAR close to pool - VERY HIGH I pay around 5$ for one can of coca cola - the same price for small beer ..... what is more we were taking small botels of water from mini bar- hotel was counting that every day and in the end of our stay we pay extra money for it :) - hehehhehe anyway - Great Hotel in Good Price ....

Was pleasantly surprised after reading some negative reviews of this hotel. We stayed two nights before going on a cruise and one night after the cruise. We phoned the hotel from home and asked if we could be collected from the airport and this service was provided free of charge. All staff were polite and friendly and happy to answer any questions about places we wanted to visit, how to get there etc. The room was spacious and clean and bed very very comfy. Bathroom also in good shape. When we returned from our cruise we were given a junior suite which was absolutely fantastic after being stuck in a tiny cabin for a week - pity we had to leave at 4.00 am next morning.
The pool area is not great but it is somewhere to sit and enjoy the last bit of sunshine at the end of the day with a cool drink. The staff there are very helpful too.We were returned to the aiport free of charge in good time for our flight. Cannot commnet on the food as we did not eat there. I would use the hotel again.

What a total nightmare, our room was above the nightclub which was open until 3am, we had no hot water, and the pool area was disgusting. Do not ever stay here!!

We too stayed 1 night before and 1 after our cruise . After making a call from home prior to departure , we made use of the free airport transfer . Check in was smooth and all the staff were extremely pleasant .We slept on both 4th and 5th floor and suffered no disco noise . The room was clean and spacious and the bed very large and comfortable .
The buffet breakfast was in fact £5 and was an all-you-can-eat arrangement . We also had a lovely sandwich , salad and chips for £5
On our departure ( at 4am ) we received a wakeup call and again used the hotel transport to the airport .
I perhaps wouldnt want to stay here for a long period , but it is a smashing hotel in a good location ...only 15 mins walk to the Creek and although a 15 min or so taxi ride to Dubai Mall , the fare is only £3 plus optional tip . The hotel also runs a daily free shuttle to the beaches .
I too would love the luxury of some of the Dubai hotels but quite honestly we only slept at the hotel and for that reason I rate it highly .
In Dubai you get what you pay for and for the money this is a good choice .
