Not too fancy but had all the things and services that a traveler with limited budget may want.

Superb location 5 minutes walk to metro, very safe to walk at night, have 24 hour supermarket nearby, the most important free internet, room is very beautiful clean and new.

Since hotel always full booked little hassle when coming to have breakfast you might need to wait around 10-15 minutes of you come prime time like 9:00-9:30am

My aim was to get a decent hotel for not much more than $100 a night, so I chose Flora Grand for 4 nights. I think it ended up at $120 a night (no breakfast).

The staff were helpful; and pleasant from the start, providing early check-in as soon as they could.

The room was big and clean, and there was complimentary wifi [very important to me]. The location is good, with a metro station nearby too.

I will recommend this hotel to anyone who asks for a place to stay in Dubai.

One small point, the airport shuttle is 50 Dhs which is funny when the airport is so close and a taxi, instantly available, is 20 Dhs.

Also the complimentary shuttles to various shopping malls are not operated by the hotel, so if the mini-bus from for example the outlet mall arrives full, you are out of luck (although a taxi there is only 55 Dhs which is pretty cheap).

Living in here I felt like home. All the service personel helps me at fullfill all
my questions. They made efforts to understand my low level english, and
after one week staying there, everybody cares for me like a Queen.
I wanna remark a lady at the reception desk, name Yeme. She's so lovely and
very helpful. Just ask her a she will fullfill all your requirements.
