First off, i have been to this location atleast 50 times in the last 5 years, the latest was january 2011. I stayed in York international maybe 4 times, but every trip to Dubia i always visit York- NO MATTER WHAT! the location is perfect, the 2nd u step ouside, you become emerged with the moving sea of people, people of every culture. Everything you need is within 100ft or just across the huge intersection. restaurants, grocery, watches, phones, banks, clothes to shop. the mall and museum is walking distance, computer repair shop, pharmacy, bakeries, and taxis at the drop of the dime, at night time, they just sitting outside waiting for you. the taxis never cheat you, all taxis are metered. but the bus stops are much cheaper, now there are trains that take you to ur destination. The airport is only 15 minute drive.
Now to the meat and potatoes, there is a club inside that will blow your mind, if you are single- PLEASE TAKE NOTE! the 1st time i went , i thought it was a dream, the ratio is bananas- for every one guy, there are 7 women or more- there is a live band that is pretty good, the food is great and the bear is not to expensive, maybe 30 diner. the band leaves around midnight- and thats when the dj takes over! and the place becomes a dance-a-thon, the dance floor is in the back and to the right. Back gto the women, alot of working gals, but they love to dance and so many nationalities, they aint scared to come chat with you. very interesting place and unique in many ways. by the way, the club is free before 830pm. a great place for singles, couples, and friends hanging out. The women are mostly from Ethiopia, Russia, Phillipines, iran, and other locations, but trust me, they are BEAUTIFUL!! York international is a place that- if ask any man who has been there to party- especially american or brittish- ask them where did they party and im sure ()% or better have visited THE YORK INTERNATIONAL- MORE THAN ONCE- LOL, WHAT HAPPENS IN YORK, STAYS IN YORK! LOL- most people stay at another hotel and come to york to party- york does not allow the girls to come up to ur room, so i now stay at other locations, but York always get my money, cuz i go there to party like a rock star!

nice and good hotel in dubai ,york hotel is heart of the city and opp. famouse jumbo elctronics show room hotel rooms are very nice hotel night life disco theqe is very good and also english band orcestra is good this hotel d j is very nice performing i realy apriciate them restorant is good staff is good you vist there one time you remember and never forget this hotel

It's a nice hotel with friendly staff, but you can stay at a better hotel with their room price.

This was my first official stop over in dubai, I had been many times before but to the closer airport hotels and not into Bur Dubai itself. The hotel itself is very well priced and is in a great location. I was very surprised as to the nightlife there within the hotel, there is a nice nightclub and the service from the front desk was decent. i found the staff to be rather friendly and was surprised as to some reviews to the opposite. I imagine people are as friendly as we are to them. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the bed comfortable. the TV channels were all fuzzy though.......I would stay here again although i would only recomend it to solo travellers or business travellers
