Nothing to say, our stay was at the Grosvernor House was just perfect! We loved it!

We had big expectation with this hotel, due to the excellent reports of Tripadvisor in particular regarding the service. We were really disappointed! At the arrival in the Suite we booked they forgot to take my partner's suitcase and we had to call them to ask for his luggage and they didn't know what we were talking about...ok don't bother...then the receptionist asked us about our preferred time time to have the room cleaned but they didn't care absolutely about this during our 2 days stay!Imagine that we asked for the room to be cleaned at about 11 a.m. and when we came back from the sea at 3 p.m. the room hadn't been made yet!We called the service and they said that they would have come immediately but it took another 30 minutes to come and then another 40 min at least to clean the room! I was astonished about this but it wasn't the end yet: we asked the reception to book for the aperitif at Burj al Arab and I swear we had to ask to 3 people before they did it. They always forgot to do it! When at the end we left the hotel , really disappointed, not a word to apologize and last but not least they also kept blocked the amount of money they had taken from my credit card as a guarantee when we arrived for a week after we left. This had never happened to me before! The hotel decor itself was good and also the Club Lounge but I have to say that for being a hotel that was rated n.1 in Tripadvisor for its service I was really disappointed and I can't believe to other people positive experiences for the service of this hotel.

We had an absolutely fantastic time in Dubai and the highlight was our stay in The Grosvenor House Hotel. This hotel is out of this world in terms of comfort and level of service. We stayed in a fabulous junior suite with views of the marina and the most comfortable beds imaginable. B'Attitude (the spa) in Tower 2 is wonderful, the pools are great and we also used the shuttle service to go to the beach.
The Buddha Bar for style, cocktail, sushi/sashimi and people watching was so much fun and the Skyview Bar was good too. Staying Club Level / Level 5 (Tower 2) is a MUST; buffet breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and evening food/drinks reception is all included. We have stayed concierge level in 5 star hotels in Las Vegas and New York but there is no comparison with this hotel. Every single member of staff is an asset and the Management should be commended. From the time we were met at the airport and escorted to our waiting car (BMW) to take us to the hotel, the service was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in Dubai celebrating a special birthday (the hotel knew this and beautiful flowers, cake and wine were waiting for us in the room when we arrived, i am only sorry that because we were both so tired, we forgot to take a photo!) and we look forward to going back to this wonderful hotel.

I booked 6 nights at The Grosvenor House on the recommendation of a friend for my wife’s 50th birthday. From the time of our arrival at the hotel to our leaving, the service, courtesy of the staff, the efficiency, the rooms, facilities and attention to detail with anything to do with our stay there, can only be described as outstanding. Two staff in particular made our stay even more memorable, that being Marina who was head of guest services, and Curtis who served at the Retreat pool, who’s people skills and customer service skills can only be described as exceptional. The hotel is perfectly located for access to almost anything you want to visit in Dubai, and complimentary access to the nearby sister hotel Meridien Beach is a special added bonus. Also the hotel offers a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants that should more than suit the most diverse of palates, and for those with high levels of energy, I strongly recommend a visit to the Buddha Bar after 11pm. Through my work I have stayed at some of the finest hotels in the world, and I can honestly say without doubt that the experience at The Grosvenor House, Dubai beats them all. We can’t wait to return!
