Excellent hotel apartment, clean rooms, quiet hotel, pleasant helpful staff, ideal location on the fish rounabout. We stayed in a spacious room which had a seperate bedroom area, living area with kitchen area. Room lacked natural light but this didn't put us off. The hotel seemed popular with the locals and other Arab buisness men there were very few other tourists while we were staying. Al Guhreair Shopping mall across the roundabout only several yards away and to the left an excellent traditional indian restaurant with outdoor seating which caters mostly to the local asian workers. This is were we could be found most nights food was great! Overall the hotel is well placed, shopping malls, and restaurants are only a walking distance away. And taxi rides to the Gold Suk are convenient and only are a short ride away. Do shop around for the excursions hotel options are not necessarily cheapest or best. This hotel comes highly recommended.

We selected this hotel from the huge range on offer in Dubai for a stay of just one night prior to flying back to the UK.
The rates are extremely reasonable and we found the rooms clean spacious and very comfortable with a choice of non-smoking.Some rooms are self-contained with a kitchenette for longer stays.
The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and a continental breakfast in the coffee lounge cost a mere £1.25!
The Oriental Palace is well situated in Diera, convenient to shopping malls and only a 10 minute taxi ride to the airport.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone requiring accommodation in Dubai.
