I have been to Dubai on a business trip.
My clients suggested this hotel and i thanked them for this idea.
Calm area, over a lake, all facilities around(fair shopping mall with all necessities shops)
Restaurants are great at hotel, the live barbecue dinner was excellent over the lake.
The Bar is one of my favorites now in Dubai.
Rooms and services are outstanding; though the brand is a 4 stars but i can rank it easily between the top 5 stars that i have been to.
On top of this, the hotel provides free shuttle services to the Mall of the Emirates, one of the main shopping malls in the city.

This was a return trip to this hotel situated by a regularly cleaned lake. Although a fair way outside Dubai city, the travel links are extensive. The hotel has a good shuttle to/from Hall of the Emirates, whilst a reasonable priced taxi service to Ibn Batutta Mall gives access to the modern Metro system. So travel to Dubai Centre is within 40 mins from the hotel.

As the hotel is away from the busy tourist areas it is very quiet and never crowded. The staff are very friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfast buffet is extensive and well presented. The hotel's two restaurants are to be commended with one serving a general menu and the other serving traditional Italian fare. Every evening there is a Babeque by the pool with food cooked to order.

Part of the hotel complex is a small shopping mall including restaurants which can provide all of your day to day needs. The hotel's pool is regularly maintained and has constant life guards in attendance.

To sum up if you want a relaxing stay but within easy reach of Dubai city centre then this is the place for you.

The staff are very attentive, accommodating and professional. Food very good especially breakfast. Had a pool side room and enjoyed the pool and lake view. You are quite far from downtown Dubai, however, I would recommend you get the free shuttle to the Emirates Mall and get a taxi from there.
Around the complex, there are a few very good restaurants the Cinese is especially nice and good value.

Our office is located nearby, that's why I choose the Green Community. Hotel has really nothing to complain about. Very friendly employees, clean rooms and good breakfast.
I very much enjoyed the pool (it was still 35°C at 10pm). I also liked that it is attached to a smaller shopping mall with some restaurants.
It is a bit a ride to the airport and the city attractions, so for tourists not the best choice. The next big shopping mall Ibn battuta can be reach in about 15 minutes taxi ride.
