when Im in the hotel I love it I like it and I say I will stay here again , when Im in the taxi watching the meter counting the Dirhams " UAE Currency" are geting more and more I heat it , but again when I arrive I forget it and .... it continue .
if you are that person he like quite far from crowded , and have a car then its ok go there other wise you have to be ware of the taxis charges because it will be so much spciealy if you want to go to dira .
even you will have a meeting in jebel ali for example it will take nearly 10 $ to take you there
there is a barbecue near the lake with a singer at night internet is free in the looby but over charged in the room "90 Dirhams / 24 h " if you will stay more than 4 nights purchase du internet card it will give you an internet for a month with the same amount , have a problim? ask for DINA nice lady she will help you .
there is 2 type of rooms with lake view and with parking view , even the parking view still looks nice due to greeny areas
conected to the hotel there is a market with 2 arabic resturant and chilies and big super market and other shopes and Book shop, sun glass , beach ware and barber for man and whomen, Bank also available .
actualy you can stay there with out going to dubai unless you have metting , if you are mixing betwen family pleasure and business then yes it will be good choice as I think that are is good and safe for the kids to play in .

I have been coming to Dubai now for several years and this was first stay at this hotel. First of all, the hotel is nice and in a beautiful setting. It is larger and with more amenities than any of the Courtyard properties in the US. That being said, the place is out in the sticks and difficult to find. It took me almost an hour (without traffic) to drive there from the airport. Valet parking was available but there was plenty of covered parking right by the front door. Upon arrival, there was only one person at the desk. Another guest was checking out and it took me almost thirty minutes to get a room key. My room was a typical Courtyard room that was comfy and had a nice view of the artificial lake. You have to stick your room key in a special holder by the door to make the lights work. No one told me this at check-in or when I called down and asked how to turn the lights on. They eventually sent a worker up to the room to show me. The breakfast buffet was very good and far nicer than any typical American Courtyard breakfast. I did not try any of the other restaurants on the property. There is a nice mall attached to the hotel. I would probably not stay at this hotel again due to the remote location from town.

We only stayed a couple of days at the hotel as a stop-over on the way back to the UK.
It's about an hour from the airport but a taxi only costs about £15, and they are clean, frequent and air conditioned! (We used the Metro to get there, but it broke down after about 6 stops and we ended up on the street with all out luggage in 40 degree heat amongst another hundred passengers- so would recommend a taxi).
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was really clean, modern and comfortable. The air conditioning was perfect- easily adjustable and very quiet. Prices at the mini-bar are very expensive but there is a large supermarket a short walk away (in the adjacent shopping mall) and we went and stocked up on drinks there. Breakfast was very reasonable and we found everything else cheaper than the UK.
There is free WiFi in the bar but the signal can be intermittent and it dropped out frequently during the time I was using it.
There is a free shuttle from outside reception to the Mall of the Emirates that runs several times a day. It takes about half an hour to get there from the hotel.
The pool is clean and pretty and at 5'8 I could just touch the bottom at the deepest point. Our son loved it! We were there in low season- towards the end of Ramadan, and we shared the pool area with between two and five people most of the time. The only down side is that the lake beside the pool can smell a bit of stagnant water but we did see them out in a boat cleaning it and pouring something into it to clean it every day.
All-in-all I would recommend this hotel for a short relaxing get-away but not if you want to be close to the city or the beach for a longer holiday.

Stayed for 2 Night on business trip on May 2010. The hotel is excellent choice for business traveler only whom are related to Dubai Industrial Area or the Jebal Ali Area.

The hotel has basic facilities and away from the city center which makes it relaxing and quiet hotel. For leisure it is good value hotel outside the city with quiet surroundings.

The room was spacious. The hotel stuff was helpful. I did't have the chance to try the F&B outlets.

Don’t expect too much and you must read the reviews before you book.
