I was once a hotelier myself but this hotel have the worst service and facilities ever!
We had an early arrival so we kept our luggage and instructed the receptionist to check it in as soon as the rooms will be ready since we will be having a city tour and we will be back very late at night.
@CHECK IN
We came back at 2300H when all of us were flat tired, all we expected was to get our room keys without hassle and just jump off to our beds. But terrible incident happened which resulted to a fight with the receptionist. He doesn't know how to listen at all! I specifically told him our situation above and I gave the reservation name as the confirmation details were taken by the receptionist in the morning but he kept on insisting to get our room numbers when in fact we told him that we don't know our room numbers because in the first place the rooms were not yet ready when we arrived. It took us couple of minutes arguing as he couldn't find our reservation. He kept on telling us that we don't have any reservation BUT without him checking in the system with mocking facial expression and rude side comments which made my husband very angry given that he was very tired and chillin' with fever. The arguments made every angry out of the silly misunderstanding because of his poor communication and customer service. And finally, after almost an hour it was resolved by calling the morning receptionist to give us our room numbers. Bravo! no endorsements, no system at all!
@ROOM
Well, we did not really expect 5-star facilities because we only paid 250/net per night but at least the room was clean. We couldn't sleep because every time we turned on the AC it sounded like a boat engine running! not to mention the small cockroaches playing everywhere, their telephone had no dial tone, the pillow covers had different off-white colors, couch- smells old body sweat that was been there for ages, the bathroom was very dirty and worst? the shower curtain and the cupboard smells beriani! It almost made me vomit.
@LIFE THREATENING EXPERIENCE
And what else??? it is life threatening experience. I was ready to leave and happy to go home after 2 nights-stay. It was my turn to take shower, since the nozzle doesn't have a hot & cold button sign, I accidentally turned it to the hot one (we'll accepting the fact that i am really clumsy!) To my surprise, it was real hot! And because of its poor facilities, the shower hose burst out and the hot water was all over me. Damn hot! It made me cry! Good thing that I have 2 nurses with me (my sisters), who did the first aid thing otherwise my arms will end up flaking because of the burn. The hotel doesn't even have first aid kit and don't know what to do in such incident. The point is, if their facilities were well maintained, even the hottest water won’t break the shower hose and there shouldn’t be a negligence that would happen like that. I should have reported it the authority but we don’t have ample of time to do this process all the way through.
And funny thing is? When we checked out, the receptionist who bought all the late first aid stuffs didn’t even bother to ask me how my condition is instead she asked how many of us stayed in the room.
Well what can I say, but I will never stay in this hotel again. So do you.. be careful!
