“Wonderful place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days. I would say that my stay was wonderful. The rooms were clean and bathroom was quite big. I was disturbed on the first nite becoz of the nite club situated in the first floor. I asked for a change of room which they promptly obliged, and i got it this time on the 9th floor.
The hotel has good view of the creek. Also the metro station is within walkable distance. The breakfast spread was adequate, nothing fancy.
The front office especially the girl whose name i dont remember was very polite and helpful.
I would recommend this place anytime to my close friends!

Room Tip: Ask for creek facing room

“Dissapointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

First of all, no towels or toilet paper in the bathroom upon arrival, and I had to call room service, who brought these after 10pm.

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and booked as a package (Bed and Breakfast)
Tried breakfast first morning, no glasses for juice or cups for coffee available. Requested for a clean glass and cup, but even after finishing the breakfast, none available or brought to the table. Brought it under the attantion of the waiter and front desk.

Although booked for 4 nights, the room key did work only for one entry and you need to go back to front desk to activayte the room key after each use. Really uncomfortable.

Last but not the least, the rooms and the floors have a very bad mold smell. It is really disgusting and not healthy at all.

Room Tip: All the same

Thank you very much for taking the time to bring your observations to my notice. We have taken steps immediately related to them. We would like you to know that we are currently in the process of entirely refurbishing the hotel, and a new fresh air system for the entire hotel is a part of it .
We have also checked into the functioning of the key card machine to ensure but please note that if the activated key is kept alongside any mobile or electronic gadget , the details get completely erased.
I look forward to a chance of meeting you personally here.

“Great central location in Diera !”

second time I am staying here. Love the central location and view of the creek. easily accessible to all other locations. Biggest swimmining pool in Diera. pool opening times are too short. I like to swim before i have my breakfast, but pool opens at 9.00am.breakfast is expensive, so i eat elsewhere. Also. I book through a reservation company and not the hotel itself. It is much cheaper. I paid 300dhm for double bed, but subject to availability !

Room Tip: higher floors recommended and view of the creek !

“Beware of scam with mini-bar!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

Hello, I am writing this review as the alert for tourists who will stay in this hotel.
My father stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. He was on a business trip.
Previously he stayed in this hotel and he hadn't encountered any problems.
The room was a bit old. The quality of hotel service has deteriorated.
This time when he was checking out of the hotel, the reception told him that he had to pay for a consumed bottle of whisky from his room's mini-bar.
When he told them that he did not drink anything from the mini-bar, they brought a bottle whisky from his room's minibar. That bottle was full (!), but slightly opened.
You should know that my father does not consume alcohol at all.
He was in a hurry to catch a flight, so he tried to argue a bit with them, but eventually he was UNFAIRLY charged 100 Dirhams for that whisky bottle.
When he came back home, he was deeply frustrated with the management of this hotel.
That is why he asked me to write this review on his behalf.
So when you check in to this hotel, you should check the mini-bar and its contents.

“It is the worst hotel I've ever visited.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 August 2011

- courtesy of front desk is very low
- Rooms displayed online are just just pictures of coming renovation not the real existing rooms. And the existing rooms are very old and do not deserve to be rated more than 1 star.
- the worst thing happened is that at night when we came back to sleep the lobby was full of drunken bar clients crawling out of the entrance and allowed music from the night club shakes the floor. worst, people coming to the night club used the same lift as hotel guests and they smell of alcohol and tobacco.
- starting from the lobby and continuing to all the rooms and the floors a smell of mold and humidity. It is really disgusting and not healthy at all.
- For us after seeing all these bad things we checked out at late night without sleeping one night.
