Good hotel for a business visit. Location is not great. Bathrooms little outdated, but it is clean and comfortable.

Been to Dubai many times and stayed at a variety of hotels. This one was good, functional and clean. 2 things that disappointed me - First was that service was slow. We asked for extra pillows and some ice and had to call about 3 times before we got what we had asked for. Room service however was fast!
Secondly the Boston Bar on the ground floor was not the best. It is great for guys if they want to watch sport but for 2 girls in for a drink it was not the best place at all! Some reviews say that they really enjoyed it however we were two women travelers ( in our 30s) and found it to be a bit of a pick up joint!
Rooms were lovely, pool was good and the location was great. I would deffinately stay there again but i would avoid the Boston bar unless that is what you are looking for!

Was looking for a reasonably priced hotel for my first stay in Dubai & booked Jumeira Rotana after the travel agent suggested it. If you go to Dubai, make sure you book airport transfer with it - the last thing you want is to drag your bags through desert heat.

Arrived at the hotel very early (about 8am) but still got to check in after just a short wait for a room to be readied - was invited to have breakfast in the meanwhile, which was a good start to the stay.

Rooms are clean and spacious, staff very friendly & helpful and I really can't fault the place at all. Breakfast buffett is plentiful and quality very good. Bed is huge and comfy and rooms are very quiet.

I would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at the Jumeira Rotana for two and a half weeks whilst visiting family for Christmas and the New Year and were delighted with the excellent service and the friendly, always smiling staff. Our family live a few kilometres from the hotel and we had no trouble commuting between the two addresses in the very cheap taxis, which the porters summoned in an instant whenever required. We found moving around Dubai very easy, using the hotel as our base and made use of the excellent public transport system as well as taxis. Riding the 'Metro' rail system is a wonderful way to capture an overview of the city - see http://www.rta.ae/wpsv5/wps/portal for more information. Our room was kept beautifully clean and the toiletries and coffee & tea making facilities replenished frequently and generously. We sometimes stayed in our room for part of the day and housekeeping accommodated our comings and goings by keeping an eye on our movements and cleaning once we'd gone out. On days when we weren't out for the day, one or the other of us was still in and out quite a bit (shopping etc.) and even when housekeeping hadn't been able to get into the room til 4pm to clean, they'd still come back to draw the curtains for the evening, creating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere for us to come home to after dinner with the family. Our stay at Jumeira Rotana was wonderful and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
