“Pricey, but worth it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012 via mobile

4 friends on a week long break, celebrating a birthday, the staff at this great hotel went out of their way to make us comfortable and were always professional and courteous. The complimentary breakfast at the club regency was excellent, highlights freshly baked goods and different types of teas, including gunpowder, most hotels never get this right) . We had dinner on the revolving floor restaurant on the 25 th floor, an excellent, and lavish international buffet, I got so excited that I tried sushi for the first time.( it was delicious). My only negative was the rooms, though clean, and the view great, the room in itself wasn't exactly spectacular, whereas the rest of the hotel is.

“Great Hotel and Service, but pricey food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

I stayed at the hotel for 2 days while on business. The hotel is beautiful and very clean with great views, but it is pretty far from the newer portion of Dubai and has very pricy food.

The room was comfortable and very clean. Great showers with hot water. The room also had a great view of the water. The hotel is also very close to the trains, so you can travel to most places without an issue. I would recommend that you purchase the Gold Car Day pass vs the normal one as the trains become very crowded and you will want the space of the Gold Car.

The only downside to the hotel was the price of the food. Although good, a pizza for $20 and a soda for $6 makes you feel like you are in a theme park. I would recommend that you take the train to one of the malls and eat there instead.

Room Tip: Eat at the malls. Hotel food is over priced.

“Thoughtful about their customers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012 via mobile

I stayed here for 3 nights and it was a very pleasant time here. At time of check-in I told them that We're visiting Dubai to celebrate our anniversary. On the day of our anniversary, when we went back to our room, we found that they have gifted us an almond & fruit cake. They made our day with that cake and brought a smile on our face. The location of hotel, Deira, is an okayish place. A bit far from centre of city, but close to Gold souk and a metro station. Would recommend this to anyone having a decent budget.

“Perfect for Business Traveler”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Hyatt Regency Dubai is further from airport as compared to other 2 Hyatt's in the city, and is the oldest of the lot, however, the hotel is perfect for any business traveler.

Loved the rooms which are comfortable and very well designed. The walk-in shower is nice, though a bit small, however the bath-tub is good. And so it the vanity counter with enough space to keep personal toiletries and a bit more (if you carry too much of them).

The breakfast spread was really nice with many food options from local favorites to international food. Loved the lunch at the revolving restaurant, a very good way to see the city, as well as Sharjah at distance.
