Set an hour or so outside Dubai this desert oasis can be enjoyed year round.
It tends to be a few degrees cooler than the city, chill in the gorgeous panoramic room, enormous bath or the totally private pool (unless the orix decide to spectate)

There are lots of activities (camel rides, archery, gym, spa etc) but grab your special someone and savor the intimate romance of the Arabian desert

Wife and I stayed 4 nights en route to Dubia 7's rugby. Absolutely fabulous. Service brilliant whoever handles staff training deserves a medal. Food fantastic. Activiites in particular dune bashing awesome - camel riding is uncomfortable not matter what they say. If you dont mind the walk or golf buggy ride Suite 6 is as remote as it gets and completely private

Beautiful bungalows whose architecture fits perfectly into the desert scenery. The room and the bathroom are huge and every bungalow comes with a private pool with complete privacy (except for an oryx or other desert animal which may pass by for a visit, but they are generally harmless!). There was even a pillow menu to ensure perfect comfort.
Desert activities were offered in the very early morning or late afternoon (due to the summer heat) and were perfectly organized (e.g. dune bashing, wildlife safari, camel riding with sunset drinks, etc.).
It is a very romantic hotel, with excellent service, definitely worth the cost (though they are quite high!). Oh, and bear in mind: no kids allowed!

We spent 4 nights there in December. This place is just fantastic, from the wonderful rooms, to the perfect attention to details. Nothing is ever too much for the staff, all round the hotel from the restaurant, housekeeping, the outdoor guides etc.... The food was delicious and varied.
And the spa just superb. This is the perfect place to get away from it all and get spoiled!
