Stayed here for 3 days earlier this month and thought the hotel was quite nice. Location wise, the metro is very close so you don't have to rely on the ever so arrogant taxi drivers (my experience with the taxi drivers has been horrid). The rooms are good though I upgraded myself to club level which was well worth it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a great hotel and the fact that it is close to the airport, it is an advantage as you don't want to sit in the Dubai traffic all day long when you're trying to take the flight out.
Presumably, my review isn't very helpful, but to conclude, it offers what it promises. So well worth it. Though, if you're on a holiday, you'd definitely want to stay in Downtown Dubai / Jumeirah Beach area.
I do have one negative point - I went upstairs to the spa and was told the masseuse wasn't available but I could have a facial instead. Being my last day, I agreed to it and probably that's the last time I will ever go in for something like that. In the pursuit of cleaning my skin with a blackhead remover, I had at least 20 small cuts on my forehead and my face (very painful). If it wasn't for me being a long holiday, I would have created a big fuss about it - but I let it slide.
