This hotel apartment is in a great location in Rolla street. As the hotel only has got a pizza joint, you need not worry as many restaurants are within just a few minutes walk. There is a super market just down stairs which is open 24 hours & you get all the staff just in case you want to use the kitchen for preparing some snacks.

The hotel is very basic in terms of furnishing & not very clean. The staff looked very jaded, not much willing to help. There is a parking with entry on the back side & you can easily find a place.There is a rooftop swimming pool but not properly maintained. This is a budget hotel & you get what you pay for.

I have stayed at the Ramee on four occasions and I have never had a problem. It is in a great location right in the centre of town and it is also handy for the metro to the beaches. There is a rooftop swimming and I have rarely seen anybody using it while I have been there, I find the staff are helpful and do their best for you. In short this is a cheap basic hotel with almost everything you would need for a good trio. I would recommend it to anyone. Best bed in Dubai. You don't want to get up.

Staff was ok. We got there really early and the let us check in at 7am with no extra charge. This is an Indian chain hotel, so mainly Indians staying. Not a problem to me (India might be my next big trip), but I did feel like I was invading their space... Don't know... got some weird looks (i have a few apparent tattoos, smoke -was smoking outside a few times, so a bit too much for them as I am a girl I guess). Go somewhere else for day trips etc - don't use the concierge! They where lovely, and tried to be very helpfull, but we had better tours when we booked elswhere. We stayed for 6 nights, and after 2 nights I wasn't waking up to the mosque across the street anymore!

Dirty place with a very rude and unprofessional staff. The hall has been transformed into a fried food shop, with a strong smell of kitchen that "welcomes" the customer as soon as he enters. The staff is the most hateful and unkind I've ever met in my life: they demanded payments in advance every two or three days, like most hotels in Dubai, but they did it with such a rudeness and such an arrogance that we finally got so bothered that we preferred to pay and leave the hotel immediately, just in order not to have anything else to do with such people (of course, they didn't even told us "Thanks" or "Bye" when we left).
I would like to give an advice to the traveler who is planning to book a room in this place: at about 100 meters from the Ramee, in the same street, there is Le Méridien, a true and beautiful hotel which offers a lot of cleanliness, comfort, courtesy and professionality at about the same price: it's so different and superior that comparing it to the Ramee would be like comparing white to black.
