This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. Comments of some of the travelers are of the time when the hotel was not refurnished and it used to have a club on the ground floor. Now they don't have any club here.

The rooms are of reasonable size and neat/clean. Wired internet in the room is chargeable. However, you can use TV Internet which is free. If you have wifi in your laptop/mobile and want to use it then you can use the free wifi internet in the hotel lobby. It also works on 1st and 3rd floor sitting area outsie lift (they have meeting rooms on 2nd floor). The password for wifi connection is "avaridxb". I hope Avari Dubai won't have any objection on my password posting here :)

If you want to use Dubai Metro, it is 10 minutes walk from hotel. Go out, turn left, walk 50 meters and you are on main Rigga road. Turn left again and walk straight to the metro station. Taxi is easily available at the doorstep of the hotel.

The breakfast and food quality is average. Service is good and speedy. The reception staff is friendly and guided us well in response to our queries. A shuttle service is available to go to "The Outlet Mall". This mall is quite far and out of the way from Dubai. And I advice not to spend 120 Dirhams on taxi for going there and coming back when you can use the shuttle which leaves at 11:00 a.m. and returns at 3:00 p.m.

There is a small bar on ground floor which was offering beer on "buy one get one free" basis. However, it is almost always empty!

I wanted to take a couple of print out and the reception staff allowed me to use business center without any cost.
