We stayed at the Waterfront Hotel Apartments for four nights in mid-October after searching long and hard for affordable layover accomodations. The MiNC was one of the cheapest (and most stable in terms of price) hotels available. We were pleasantly surprised to have the staff greet us and help us to our room (though we arrived quite late at night). The rooms are a decent size, with a nice large closet, a television, a small seating area and an enormous bed. The kitchenette was clean and well equipped and made our stay easier - as we were not forced to go out for every single meal. We picked up supplies at the smalls store directly across the street. The bathroom was large and clean.

We had a small issue with our in-room washer and dryer combo (what a treat to have your own right in the room!) but the staff kindly took all of our clothing to an adjancent room, washed and hung it all to dry - even though it was the middle of the night!

The manager was friendly and made great efforts to ensure that we were satisfied.

The best part: The rooftop pool and lounge area. This was largely deserted, surprisingly, but a nice way to cool off after a day of sight-seeing. The pool was clean and the view is excellent. There is also a small gym in the hotel which was an added bonus.

The location of the hotel is excellent, within walking distance to the Creek and surrounding areas and also a short distance to the metro and a mall (though I would recommend taking a taxi since it is so cheap!)

We would definitely return for another layover in Dubai, and would certainly stay at MiNC again.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our extended stay in Dubai. From staying in Xclusive apartments which was Modern and Clean this was the totally the OPPOSITE!!!!!

Our one bedroom apartment was really disappointing and absolutely disgusting. There were footprints all over the white bedsheets. When i rang reception they sent a staff to change sheets. However cleaner was ill-mannered as he didnt greet or say anything when opened door, whilst changing sheets he was on his mobile having a chat for 10 mins then he said he would come back in 2 mins waited for 15mins still no return which resulted me in to call reception again. Later realised Bathroom had mudstains on the walls and all the floor tiles in the apartment was dirty made my feet black. We had a standing shower which was so small when you twisted and turned you would touch the horrible shower curtain. Our room was promptly changed the next morning as i booked in for a king bed not twin beds and complained about hygiene. 2nd room was better however bathroom tiles still had stains on them which i just could not be bothered in reporting as it was my final night. I dont expect 5* quality in a 3* apartment with the price i paid however i do strongly believe at the VERY LEAST IT NEEDS TO BE CLEAN. I do think there needs to be investment for this place as the furniture is very old and bathrooms need to improved.

Good things about this apartment is it spacious but no point if its dirty and it provides free high speed internet which is rare in Dubai and if you want to be few mins walk from the creek then this meets your requirements. Also, the staff on the reception were nice.However i would not stay here again and would not recommend it at all.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the waterfront apartments. I have to say I was very dissapointed. In no way is this a 4 star hotel, more like 2 star. We arrived and the check in is simple, i was surprised that there was noone to take us to our room and had to struggle alone. First impression of the studio was that is wasnt very clean, and on closer inspection the kitchen and utensils were certainly grubby to say the least. The living area was very very basic and the quilts under the cover was again very grubby. The TV didnt work the shower had a hole in it, and the toilet seat was broken. There wasnt even a rug on the floor. In the morning we asked to be moved. Which we did but the other room was just the same.

I wouldnt stay here again, there are certainly better places in Dubai at a similar price.

I have stayed in this hotel for 15 nights, the location was ideal for my visit, the staff were very polite, the room was spacious, the metro is just 10 minutes away, the internet was free, not many hotels offer free internet, car park was free too,my wife and I had a great time and surly will stay again in this hotel.
I would like to thank the staff for making my stay as comfortable as possible, much appreciated.
