“Horrible experience with MSG www.mydubaistay.com”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Absolutly abyssmal experience with mydubaistay.com!! MSG is the parent group, which was just reviewed by another user who alse hated the experince, where to begin!!!
On arrival on entering the apartment disgusting, chewing gum stuck to the cupboards, dust all over the floor, shower blocked and would not drain, never seen a more disgusting apartment in my life!!
On complaining we eventually got cleaners to come round and clean again!

We were never given a beach card, anyone who has stayed on the palm will tell you without this you cant get access to beach, pool or gyms, we chased and chased mydubaistay.com to get the cards with broken promises everytime, i called 5 times on the first day alone, we were then given someone elses card and told to lie to the gym staff that we were from another building!! ridiculous unprofessional bunch of idiots!

I basically spent the ween running from gym to gym being denied access, with frequent visits to mydubaistay.com offices to try and get them to sort it out. DO NOT ever stay in any apartments managed by mydubaistay.com they are the most incompetent bunch of people I have ever come across in my life!!
Also now the situation with beach cards is even worse no one apart from long term tennants or owners can get access to the beach, any holiday lets will have to pay £10-15 a day per person!!

Room Tip: dont use mydubaistay.com

“My worst holiday of a lifetime!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

This was first visit to Dubai and it was ruined my decision to stay in these appartments. MSG was the company that managed the appartments we stayed in and I have never stayed in such conditions. Our appartments had no lights with nearly all the bulbs which we replaced ourselves and our room was cleaned on average evert 3 days. Towels were nowhere to be seen as were the managers dispute my numerous request for a meeting.
I can not implore enough for others not to make the same mistake as I did and ruin their holidays. What made this so bad was the fact that everywhere else we went to Dubai in terms of bars, restaurants and hotels were incredible with great service.
Conclusion:
Dubai is an incredible place.
Shoreline appartments should be knocked down and rebuilt.
MSG managed appartments: ***!!!;;::;(((!!! (Can not write anything without being truthfully)

It's a shame I could post photos to prove my point.

Room Tip: Don't book through MSG!

“Required to pay for BEACH and POOL!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

I just got an email from my rental company regarding my upcoming stay in Al Hatimi. Fully paid for a booked for 2 months in 2012. Now ... the developer is charging extra to use the beach, pool, playground and gym! Not just a little --- alot --- close to 30USD PER PERSON, PER WEEKEND DAY!!! For a family of four, 120 USD per weekend day - which comes out to almost 2000USD not budgeted for.

“NO BEACH ACCESS!! Not recommended!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2011

I have just returned from a stay at the shoreline apartments on the Palm Jumeirah. The developers have very recently changed the rules regarding access to the beach, pool and gym facilities and there is now NO ACCESS! what so ever for guests staying in the apartments. Security guards are stationed at each door to the beach and they rudely deny any access unless you are on their list. We tried in vain every day to be granted access, even getting our holiday company to write a letter to the developers, giving our names, so we could gain access; this was turned down by the developers.

Every guest in the complex of apartments had the same problem as us. Those with small children were particularly frustrated.

The security guards are rude and in some cases were heavy handed, threatening one lady with the police.

I would not recommend staying here unless you are certain that this issue has been resolved.

“Great holiday. Apartment Haseer Shorelines.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 July 2011 via mobile

We decided to stay at the shoreline apartment recently and decides to try the apartments as hotels are just ridiculously prices in Dubai. Booked through Arabian escapes. Seem to be the only agency with any direction. All went perfectly. We had a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with TWO balconies. We were allocated apartment 107 in one of the 2 best building Haseer. Ensure you stay in either Haseer or Nabat. Basically you pay the same and get a far better quality feel. We felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. The extra advantage of these 2 buildings is that you have a heated pool which in the months of Nov to April really matters. We had a lovely restaurant downstairs. There is even a creche facility where you could pay for as few or many hours as you needed. Down the road is Milk and Honey. Pricey but great quality. Sea lovely again and very well managed. Enjoy your stay!
