Nuran Greens is a Serviced Apartment accommodation type, offering fully fitted kitchens, pans, pots, crokery and cutlery, huge fridge freezers and plenty of storage space.
Good size, perhaps not as large as some other apartments I have stayed in Dubai, but well furnished, inside the apartment and on the balcony.
Good bathroom amenities too, quite generous sized shampoo, conditioner, body musturiser and other little goodies.
Very comfortable beds, although pillows are a little too high, but I was the only one who had an issue with that.
Free, high speed wired internet connection is available in the apartment too, as well as iron/ironing board, dressing gowns which can also be used as bathrobes. A safe is available in the master bedroom, and I really liked their shoe bags, there were 4 of them, very handy.
Guests at Nuran Greens have access to a very good sized swimming pool with deck-chairs and a smaller one for the small kids. There is a vending machine in the pool area for cool and water. Drinks cost 1 AED each.
Very spacious gym. There is also a barbecue, which can be used by guests for personal parties, plus a room that can be used for whatever you like. When I stayed in April, there was at least a garden party and a birthday party and it felt like home.
Service is prompt and generally very good.
Full breakfast is available for 36AED per person. This is the only thing I would not recommend but I will let you make up your own mind on this. Plus, with full cooking facilities and a large fridge, you should really consider cooking your own.
Nuran Greens is a great location. 10 minutes drive from the Mall of the Emirates, with its famous Ski Dubai resort (approx 10 AED in a standard taxi depending on traffic)
If you fancy walking (subject to heat levels) you can go to the Greens Village which is approximately 10 minutes walk and has everything from bars and restaurants to free wi-fi, a pharmacy, a large supermarket (with a section for non-Muslim food including pork, ham, etc.), a bookshop, a KFC, a Costa Coffee, an ice-cream parlour, etc. Great place to relax and shop for groceries and the little stuff you may need.
If you are on a business trip, a taxi to the World Trade Centre or the DIFC will cost you approximately 40 AED and take about 20 minutes depending on traffic.
Traffic wise - if you are in a hurry and need to leave for work/school at peak time in the morning, ensure you have pre-booked your taxi 800 90 90 and leave at least 10 minutes earlier because there is a strech of road before getting onto Sheikh Zayed Road which is the classic bottle-neck and can take time.
Would definitely stay there again.
